The short version: print as much as you like for your own family, classroom or caseload; please don’t pass the files on.

What you are buying
Every Inkwren Studio product is a digital download: print-ready PDF files and editable PowerPoint (.pptx) files, delivered instantly. Nothing is shipped and nothing is made to order. You are buying a license to use those files, not ownership of the books.
License granted
Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for personal use and within one classroom or one clinician’s caseload. Under that license you may:
- print unlimited copies for your own family, your own classroom or your own caseload;
- edit the PowerPoint files to insert real names, places, routines and details;
- display pages on a screen during a lesson, session or appointment;
- keep and re-use the files for as long as you need them.
What the license does not allow
- Reselling, sharing, emailing, uploading or otherwise redistributing the files or edited versions of them, in whole or in part.
- Including them — or any illustration or page from them — in another product, paid or free.
- Uploading them to a public website, a school or district drive that reaches beyond your own classroom, or a file-sharing service.
- Passing copies to colleagues. Additional seats are inexpensive; ask us.
- Claiming authorship, or removing the Inkwren Studio credit from a page.
School-wide, district and clinic-wide licenses are available. Write to hello@inkwrenstudios.com with roughly how many staff need covering.
Delivery
Files are released the moment payment clears, through whichever shop you bought from. If a download link fails, tell us and we will send you a working one.
Refunds
Because files are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, sales are final once the download is available. That is not the same as no support: if a file is corrupted, won’t open, won’t print correctly, or doesn’t match what the listing described, write to us within 30 days and we will replace it or refund you. Telling us your device and program usually lets us fix it in one message.
Intellectual property
All text and illustrations remain the property of Inkwren Studio. Illustrations are AI-assisted and hand-directed, curated and reviewed by the studio. The Fraunces and Atkinson Hyperlegible typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.
Independence
Inkwren Studio is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Carol Gray or The Gray Center. Our scripts are written to follow Carol Gray’s Social Story criteria as a published framework.
Not clinical advice
Inkwren books are educational materials. They are not medical, psychological or behavioural advice, and they are not a substitute for assessment or treatment by a qualified professional who knows the child. You know your reader; use your judgement about what to introduce and when.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force for a purchase is the one published on the day of that purchase.
